Tracy Berka, RPN

Tracy Berka is a registered Practical Nurse with over 30 years of dedicated experience in long-term care and retirement settings. Her career also includes extensive work in home care, supporting children and young adults. Tracy’s close relationship with her grandmother fostered a deep affinity for the elderly, motivating her to provide compassionate care and meaningful engagement with seniors. She finds great joy in assisting older adults and cherishes the opportunity to listen to their life stories, which she considers both inspiring and invaluable.

Amid the challenges of the pandemic, Tracy discovered Reiki meditation online as a way to maintain calm and balance. This practice soon became a daily routine, and her passion led her to pursue further study, achieving Reiki Level 2 certification. Tracy now utilizes her skills to support others coping with loss and grief, offering holistic guidance and comfort.

Recently, Tracy’s family faced significant life changes due to her father’s health, highlighting the complexities of navigating the health care system without an advocate. This experience deepened her commitment to holistic advocacy, recognizing its growing importance in Canada’s evolving health care landscape. Tracy continues to champion the well-being of individuals and families, drawing on her professional expertise and personal insight to make a meaningful difference.
